Although I have a good pc now. For most of my time playing TF2 and skial, I had a $400 laptop.
Specs:
Amd A9 2 core 3Ghz
Radeon R5 Gpu 512Mhz
8Gb of DDR4 Ram
1TB HDD Storage
Needless to say, not that impressive

Was it a office oriented laptop?

It probably was. But I wanted something to game on and get used to pc controls before I went straight into a gaming desktop

Ah, I used a MacBook pro when I first started gaming, can't use it anymore though because Catalina doesn't run 32 bit apps anymore

I first had my laptop at March 2020 by saving up money for it, then I worked my ass off and then got my $1000 pc built at December 2020. Now all I need is a good Monitor and then everything will be complete

I have never been big into PC gaming, my crappy thinkcentre does fine for what I'm playing on it, I prefer older computers, especially apple computers

It was the shit when I got it back in the day.
I remember when the original Titan was the bee's knees.

Now that card can't even play Cyberpunk at 1080p medium

Meanwhile a "budget" 2060 Super can at 1080p Ultra

you talking oldschool Macs?

my case has 3 intakes and 2 outtakes
Only for the PowerPC really, the 680X0 line had some IBM compatibles using it aswell, PowerPC CPUs I think we're also in the original Wii and PS3 IIRC

Used to play on a 2nd gen macbook air with an i5 way back when, I had to use an awfully strong config and the game still barely managed to keep 45-60 fps.
Playing 32 Player VSH/Freak Fortress strained it even harder.
Late in its life the laptop could probably burn your skin if you touched the bottom after an hour or so of gameplay.
I don’t remember exactly what mac pc my uncle had, but playing on it was ass. Especially on vsh servers, I tried so hard to not get goomba stomped or my game will freeze for a good 15-30 seconds. And it use to get hot as well.
