Welcome to the "most popular surf in tf2" however the popularity of this map is not real, people only play this map on other servers because this is mainly a trading map and not combat surf.
This map is completely despised by the Skial community, when this map is voted "usually because it is f1 on map selection list" everyone starts complaining in chat and ends up rtving this map.
Most of the time the map doesn't even last 5 minutes before it is rtved and this map is so hated by now it is just a meme and people just joke about it.
There are also many problems with this map including a door bug that makes the door make an excruciating loud noise when it is opened/closed, here is an example of it


and the map just looks really poorly designed like it looks like it was made in like an hour.
Hopefully you took these thoughts into consideration because this map is absolutely hated by us.

This is a gross exaggeration. I've played surf 10x myself and its a regular surf map, there's nothing wrong with it. Just because it is mostly made up of concrete doesn't make it an "idle map".

It has really high stats because there are servers that only run this map 24/7 and they stay filled. If it is good enough where people are willing to play it 24/7, that's a plus.

If you think you can just fill any server by slapping a bad map on it and labling it "idle" or "trade", go ahead and try it.

Things like this is why ignoring the vocal minority has worked for us for so long. If we did this we would have removed the top maps for many game modes like dr_playstation.

Guys its confirmed that the ear rape door is intentional.

But in all seriousness,

if 10x is here to stay, PLEASE fix the door noise at least. Or use a different version of the map where the door doesn't destroy your ear drums (someone suggested this before I think).
Staying near jail is where all the action is on that map, and I think we can all agree that the door ear rape BUG doesn't exactly make that area very pleasant.

for some odd reason the door doesn't make ear rape noises in a private session so it might to be do with the server

Honestly, the outcome of the suggestion was obvious from the start. Even if a map is low-quality, if it's popoular, it will not get removed

I was trying to imply that noone liked it i play alot on that server and its rtved as soon as its picked but it doesnt matter now
