Rust is a hardcore survival game, like minecraft survival but on steroids. You gotta do everything yourself, or with a team, and build bases / get best loot and raid other bases. The game mechanics can be a difficult to get used to in the beginning, especially the pvp system, like shooting people across maps and getting all headshots, but after 2k hours that should be easy. It's definitely going to make you rage quit sometimes, and takes lots of time to get acquainted to crafting, blueprints, harvesting, rad towns, and other stuff. Theirs plenty of YouTube videos on it if you are curious to check it out!

Rust is a survival game almost like minecraft but not as pixelated, so better graphics and also different weapons, things to do, etc. But in rust you begin naked on the beach and you hit can hit stone or wood to get you started so you make a base. Then after you farm for tools and primitive weapons. Pvp a little bit, research as you go along. Make your way up the chain in guns and such, you'll meet other groups of big clans that come on a server to destroy but its better to play with a few friends to start to get the hang of it. Prepare for toxicity, the classic hard R is commonly said to other people when they down them, swearing and etc. If your really interested just watch a tutorial on YouTube, there is a lot to explain.
