mute/ban votes are too easy to abuse

There are a bunch of arguments on this site for the opposite side. Too many retards can't muster enough brainpower to pres F1 to vote-kick cheaters/greifers.

So yeah. There's no winning either way.

I've seen loads of people get muted for being obnoxious, I've also seen lots of votes fail, so I think it's pretty balanced (as much as life is in general)
I always mute people straight away that get on my nerves and will F1 if someone votes against them, but I never start a vote.

I think they should last a day, if someone wants to appeal they can come here. I've seen a good few people come here to appeal a 30 min block by which time it's already expired.. and 30 mins isn't long at all while playing.

If you see the voteabuse or anything that would be reason to votereport, report it here as reporting will get them a longer ban/mute.

I do agree with maddo, they should be a day or at least 1-2 hours.

If the majority finds you irritating, then the vote system is in place to prevent and stop people from being annoying

I think the current voting system is fair. If you have an issue with a past-vote, bring it up to an admin. They can review the logs.
