Hi, I just recently got back into playing tf2 again and when I logged on to skial through the server browser I was banned. When I checked the sourcebans, as suggested in the prompt it says that I was banned over 5 or 6 years ago. I don't remember the reason why I was banned but I am pretty sure I said something offensive or a racial slur. since again it was over 5 or 6 years go which is why I think I should be unbanned.​

You were banned for connecting from the same IP address as a cheater we caught. However, it seems the ISP recycles IPs frequently and you just happened to get a tainted one. You seem to be using a different ISP now, so you should not run into the same issue. I will be marking this as invalid as the ban was properly applied based on IP, but I will lift the ban.
