Servers:
TRADE | US
Time Zone:
Australian Eastern Daylight Time. I am available every day of the week from 12 pm AEDT to as late as 2 am AEDT.
Link to your Stats Page:
Playing Time:
180 hours, 24 minutes of me being active with only a total of 4 hours and 50 minutes of being AFK.
Will you get mad if you lose admin?:
In short, no, if there is a valid reason on my superior's point of view for the removal of my admin privlages then I will have no other reason but to comply to my superirors. I understand being an admin does need a high level of responsibility for oneself.
How do you ban yourself using your own SteamID?:
I put in the command sm_ban and eneter in my steamID which I can access via the "~" button and typing in "status", this will then provide me with my and/or other player's steamIDs add in the amount of time I wish to ban myself, 30 minutes as an example with the reasoning being "obvious aimbot".
Any other reason you should be admin:
I think this would be a great opportunity to help out the Skial US trade server. There have been far too many countless times where people have relentlessly break the rules with no repercussions other than a simple voted mute. There are too many times where me and other players have to endure for hours until an admin comes into the server and finally deals with the situation, I strongly believe another admin that's around more consistently will have a huge improvement on the rule enforcement on the server.

Continuous abusive words about someone's sex, age, ethnic background and race are heard far too many times in this server that I believe it's really no longer a safe place where people can just trade and meet new people, the health of the server is degrading and I would be honoured to be a part of helping making the server a better place.

You know you can report people right? You can record demos, you've got the stats page. You did none of that looks like, by your words in this app and your non existent threads.
Apart from that, you're not supposed to take the ban yourself question as a JOKE LUL LMAO, which is what it looks like since you prob didn't look at other apps???? Wtf

Thanks for the criticism, I always enjoy listening to people and their point of views and to have the opportunity to improve myself.

Thank you for your time :)

No need to over complicate the question, while its not 'wrong' look at other admin apps to see what I mean. I feel the reason you want to be admin could use some work. All of that can be fixed with demos and reports. If it really gets heated get an admin in, trade is a hard thing to manage as it is.

The ban question is over complicated, Revise it please.

As upper said, you should get comfortable with how to report and obtaining proper evidence, because if you become an admin, you will be dealing with those reports.

Chat is unimpressive, but not terrible so I'll overlook it.

I'll hold my opinion until at least the app is corrected.

It doesn't matter if he makes reports. Yeah, it shows he knows the rules and all that, but eventually he's going to have to answer some questions if he ever gets enough +1s, and when he answer then it should be decided whether he gets a -1 or not. Still, it's recommended, to get more popularity on your app, but it's not a requirement.
Onto the app itself, it's pretty solid but as said above you definitely overcomplicated the ban question. Chat just contains a bunch of offers and such which is what I'd expect from a trade player.
I'm not giving a +1 or -1 yet, however.

I mean reporting does show that one knows the rules and does know how to get evidence.

Should it be a requirement? probably not, but should people consider taking off points on it? yes it should, because it is physical evidence that the applicant knows the rules. Without it, unless they report through discord and someone verifies that, we cannot know that the applicant has an understanding of the rules.

this man deserves to be admin. I've only known the guy for 2 days and I know he is more man than any I've ever talked to online.

As I said, we ask applicants questions for a reason. It is also not limited to three, we can ask five, ten or even one hundred for that matter. If we are unsure that an applicant does not know the rules that well, then we can ask more. They don't have to make reports to show they know the rules.

But when they say "omg so many hackers and rule breakers omg we had to wait for an admin to come" or shit like votemenuing rule breakers, it's MORE THAN FAIR to throw that reports thing at them, since someone who is trying to be admin should know MORE THAN WELL how to deal with rule breakers even if they aren't an admin.

Please, it's not a game rated for children to have a safe space, it's a plethora of characters turning each other into gibs with a multitude of weapons.

Knowing the rules is not a requirement.

You definitely over-complicated the ban thing but I won't hold that against you if you can answer this. Please in your next reply list the command exactly as you'd enter it in the console, to ban yourself for 1 day for Micspam on a Trade server (I am well aware this is normally a mute unless severe).

Chats clean, as said above it's mostly just trade.

I am leaning towards a NO on this app. You do share your account with your 10 y/0 kid brother.

And then there's the issue of me having to cancel vote mutes started by you, like I am ON the server, why exactly are you using !votemenu? followed by "hey catgirl maybe you should make me an admin" I have to check prior offenses/record a demo etc before I punish the guy so maybe stop DOING THAT?

I'll switch my no to a yes if you change those two things.

You cannot share an admin account with your 10 year old brother.

If your 10 year old brother uses an admin command because he gets mad, that will cause too much trouble.

Aight, this is a waste of time. You've completely missed the point of the ban question and if putting Skial's best interests of you not sharing your account with your brother is something you're "too lazy" to do, we're not interested in having you on the team. If you can get everything in check and assure that's the case, feel free to reapply.

It's fair enough that I shouldn't be able to apply for admin if I do share my account with my brother. I think it would of been too much of a hassle for both parties. Guessing that my language on the Discord servers or on the trade servers doesn't support my end and that's understandable.
