@CDAWG nah dude.. It was clearly goaltender interference hands down.. Simmonds knocked Mrazek away. You can clearly see it. You still won though. :D

Outside the blue. Not interference. You guys got the no call earlier on interference when Neuvirth was deep in the blue.

Either way, we're storming back for now. and God Bless Ron Hextall for getting rid of all those shit contracts

Rule 69 – Interference on the Goalkeeper 69.1 Interference on the Goalkeeper - This rule is based on the premise that an attacking player’s position, whether inside or outside the crease, should not, by itself, determine whether a goal should be allowed or disallowed. In other words, goals scored while attacking players are standing in the crease may, in appropriate circumstances be allowed. Goals should be disallowed only if: (1) an attacking player, either by his positioning or by contact, impairs the goalkeeper’s ability to move freely within his crease or defend his goal; or (2) an attacking player initiates intentional or deliberate contact with a goalkeeper, inside or outside of his goal crease. Incidental contact with a goalkeeper will be permitted, and resulting goals allowed, when such contact is initiated outside of the goal crease, provided the attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such contact."

1. Mrazek's right skate was completely in the crease.
2. Simmonds jumped on Mrazek and hit him in the head. Whether it was deliberate or not - it's arguable. However, there was no reasonable effort made to avoid this hit.

I see no RW player anywhere around Neuvirth when Detroit scored. I see no interference...

Larkin keeps rocking. He made a unique hat trick tonight - goal, assist, and lost tooth. But what a feed to Z. This kid is gonna rock hockey's world.
