You can probably find a better solution just for the 1 class/weapon but here's a site that lets you crate your own FPS config (can use your own settings), customise your crosshairs for any class/weapon and many more options. http://clugu.com/tf2mate/

I prefer high frames as I feel like maxframes is a bit overkill on fps and I'd still prefer the textures to be prettier. If i can't find a solution i'll probably just revert the code back to the original way and if that doesn't work, which i doubt it will, then i'll go back to the vanilla...
