What do you mean "all the other updates"? If you're referring to MvM and EoTL, sure, I guess maps that are for really gimmicky gamemodes don't fare too well, but most community-created maps have survived really well over the years.

Why though? They're marked as bots in the server browser, and playing against only 4 bots on an empty server is way more boring than playing against basically a full team.

I'm currently very slowly working on a Bottiger ff2 boss. I have the main frame of the boss ready, all I need are voicelines and a penguin model. If anyone can 3D model this penguin: It would be very appreciated, and if it's good enough I'll probably be able to work out some form of payment...

While I do agree on your view on the point of credits, you have to look at it from a gifter's perspective. They aren't gonna gift credits to some random person they've never seen before that asks for 100k credits just because. I don't see any reason not to add it back. +1
