I used the start button to Pin stuff to the task bar. After that I could care less. No to mention, Windows 8 doesn't like my dual monitors (atleast when i was using it in a VM). WHen moving my mouse to the side to try and get the sidebar to appear, it would just jump to my second screen...

I find Photoshop easier to use because I'm just used to the layout. First time I used GIMP, it took me a while to find out where the options I needed were.

I still love my ringtone/notifications. RIngtone is Portal Radio tune, and notification is a turret going "Are you still there?"

I personally like the case sensitivity. But that's just a personal preference. In linux I normally name all my backups of files in all caps and normal files in all lowercase.

Yes, but you still get dust. The main question is, how often do you clean the dust out? Close to floor is fine as long as you are periodically cleaning the dust out. I personally clean mine out at least once a month

This doesn't sound like a reason to dislike Linux. Seems more like a reason to call up the vendor and bitch at them for not creating the program correctly. If they're making a program for Linux, they should know it's case sensitive.
