Why shouldn't it be? Keys are worth 1.35 on the market because of metal farmers and the tf2 economy, valve just set a price for keys.

Mann co store prices are mann co store prices, also something to note in case you didn't know this is that keys are worth actually around 1.35 USD. And it's not Valve's escape plan it's valves business, interesting fact they make 12 times more revenue off of f2p tf2 than they did off retail tf2.

A refined metal is worth $0.35. Devide that by 9 to reach 1 scrap (the price of one wep.) A weapon is worth 4 cents.
