I understand that people will do anything to be an admin, if it's what they really want. But i think its getting out of control.
I have seen, in my 1206 hours played just on skial (https://stats.skial.com/#player/tf/121590627), multiple people getting muted for stuff it doesn't make sense ( Im talking about me and other players that I have seen ). They will go on chat logs, without being online and just take stuff out of context and report. There are pages and pages of reports that they do and some dont make sense.
In my example, i said "stupid chinese" to my friend, a guy that has Chinese characters in his name and i got a permanent mute for it, even though everyone calls him like that.
The guy that reported me is named "Jack Jackerson", and he told me in chat that he wasn't even on, he just took the text from the chat log without context. Its even weirder cause he spent that night taunting me when he killed me, before he made the report.

Hard to read your post in sincerity when the first prime example you list is your recent mute from the local chat log police. Regardless of them or not, the people reported broke a rule more often than not

We've had to warn a number of people off from being chat log police. Probably about time a PSA is made about it.

The thing is, i didnt break a rule, thats how everyone calls the guy, not my fault his name is in chinese characters. This is completely out of context, like is always happening. Im a regular on this server, I really enjoy playing in this community but its hard to keep going when everyone gets muted or banned for some stuff that the actual players don't care at all.

Permanent mutes are only given after multiple chances, and your appeal was rejected. You're not going to get out of it by slandering other people.

Your argument is equivalent to saying "I say 'shut up black' to my friend because he is black and everyone does it". Stop playing dumb and trying to make yourself out to be innocent.

If his name was "Black" yes, i would say it. I never had a 3 month mute and my old perma mute was a troll. That muted lasted around 1 minute or less. Check it out.
Everyone knows that im annoying and everything but im not racist.

I really don't enjoy getting involved with this kind of thing, so, take this sincerely. The EU payload server has a great community, a lot of regular players that have kept the server highly populated for years, and we all know each other very well. I understand that Skial is strict in it's moderation, but I feel that many of the mutes and permabans that we have had recently have been out of context and actually do more to harm the community we have built on EU. removing many much liked players from talking, or from being able to play at all. Juan was once served a mute for saying my name 'D_ink', I hope this does not add to the list of 'chances'.

Funny thing this kind of scenario is exactly how Payload US ended up splitting and forming Oprah's Petrol Station.

@Bottiger you might wanna look into this before it happens again.

If someone reports an issue, we have to address it. Just because you and your friend don't think it is offensive doesn't mean it isn't offensive to anyone else.

The EU payload server was only recently revived in the past 3-4 years. Before that, there were no regulars that were faithful to us. They all left when communities like fragmasters used fake players for years after meet your match came out.

It has nothing to do with why Oprah's Petrol Station split off. They split off because our payload server was dying from other communities using fake players for years while I did not notice and I did not want to fill the payload server with a bunch of custom maps.

You are thinking of "Skvr" which split off from dustbowl because they wanted to say "nigga" and they are long gone.

Stop trying to make this all about "admin abuse".

I came back to tf2 2+/- years ago. I have played in skial since, every single day. Im not saying its admin abuse, i just want you to understand that before you mute, you need context.
If the guy that I was calling "chinese" wasn't offended, why someone else be? And why am i the only one getting muted when everyone every single day calls him that in voice chat?
I can be annoying and everything but im not Racist at all, if people dont wan't to hear me they can !ignore or mute me in TF2 button.

How is the context different? Why would it make a difference if you just said it randomly vs replying?

Because anyone that was on the server could see he had Chinese characters, and since the entire server can't read chinese, we refere to him as "chinese". That's the difference in the context. Or you tell me if u were playing in the server and wanted to talk to him, you would call him something different or use google translator? Im just trying to play the game and talk to people.
