Hello, first time posting here in a long time if ever.

I am curious why certain items are banned on VSH specifically in the US server.
Such items I've noticed are:
  • Bazaar Bargain
  • Soda Popper
  • Rocket Jumper
  • Stickybomb Launcher
  • Overdose
  • Eureka Effect
  • Natasha
  • Blutsauger
What I do not understand is why these items are banned completely and are physically replaced with stock when an item like the Axtinguisher is allowed when its stats are reverted to stock.

Can you please add them in but replace their stats with stock like how the Axtinguiser is treated? I ask because people might want to use strange or skinned varients of these weapons. Please respond.

From my years of playing VSH and experience on other communities that allow some of those weapons I will attempt to answer this.

  • Bazaar Bargain - Overpowered once six head shots are attained.
  • Soda Popper - The ability to perform multiple jumps once HYPE is activated would make it easier to get into difficult areas to reach and delay the round.
  • Rocket Jumper - Too much ammo and no blast damage is inflicted on yourself means you won't need to get health/ammo as much, when a soldier jumps with a normal rocket launcher he will usually get killed because he needs to get health at some point. (either by blowing himself up or hale uses the opportunity to get him)
  • Stickybomb Launcher - Same as above really, I'd say worse though because you can jump further and higher. Imagine how long you could delay the round for if you had the B.A.S.E jumper equipped!
  • Overdose - I don't think there is a specific reason here (a slight boost in speed on 100% ubercharge is hardly going to outrun hale), if I recall it's just because all syringe guns except the crusadors crossbow get switched to a custom stat syringe gun. (which allows uber to be built on hit)
  • Eureka Effect - Well I think this one is pretty obvious : )
  • Natasha - Slowing down hale would be very over powered especially near a sentry nest.
  • Blutsauger - I'd say the same as the overdose, getting health-on-hit won't really help when hale just has to hit you once, it just makes it easier to switch the plugins own syringe gun.
I used to wish the Rocket Juy
And the Axtinquisher used to not be allowed but you could always use the Postal Pummeler which is just a reskin (Unless it's changed recently, I don't play as pyro) so I'm not sure about that. I hope I've answered you well.

I completely agree with how you are putting it as their stats in VSH would be overpowered but what I would rather have is them replaced with the stats of stock like how the Axtinguisher is treated.
