because Valve servers don't have SMAC to ban the hackers that usually do the pubstomping there

One of the biggest bonuses for Casual servers, you don't get muted or banned for using offensive language and micspam. The chances of getting kicked from a pub over offensive stuff are 50/50 considering if you're playing with a bunch of f2pers, then they're more likely to kick you, but people who've played the game for a long time simply don't care and just mute you with the in-game mute option, or do voice_enable 0 (something I do to avoid hearing people over my music).

and this contributes to the difference in "skill" between players of Casual and Community servers how?
