I couldn't find a thread related to this but I'm sure there is one. 2 of my closest friends recently moved away. I don't really talk a lot as it is and them moving made it worse. Last summer I got into anime as a way to pass time and became a pretty big weeb but slowly moved out of it. Since they moved i've decided to get back into anime as a way to pass time. I've provided a list of what I have watched so people know what my interests are.

Attack on Titan (25 episodes)
Death Note (39 episodes)
Death Note Live Action Movie
Sword Art Online (25 episodes)
Rosario + Vampire seasons 1 & 2 (26 episodes)
Gunslinger Girl (13 episodes)
Blue Exorcist (25 episodes)
Magi: Adventure of Sinbad (13 episodes)

Girls Und Panzer is pretty good despite what one would expect.

JoJo's Bizzare Adventure might be able to keep your interest for a decently long time. (Watch the Part 1 movie though, don't watch the first season of the part 1 show. Its actually kinda bad)

Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is good if you're into sci-fi.

Re:Zero (25 episodes, episode 1 is a double-feature) is so good that I am ashamed to have put it on my backburner for as long as I did.
Kaiji (two seasons, 26 episodes each) can be summarized up as a bit of Yu-Gi-Oh mixed with a bit of Death Note: epic gambling with epic mindgames

I'm more of a shorter anime watcher. Like 30-40 episodes max. I watched the first 35ish episodes of Dragon Ball and lost interest.
2 seasons, Both seasons end well. And you wont get board. Watch a couple and see if you like.

Dragon ball is like a never ending story like Saturday morning cartoons.

plus, the 2 seasons only total 37 episodes (Season 1 is 24 episodes and S2 is 13). Hulu only got 61 as a total because they added the dubbed first season to the subbed two seasons rather then presenting them as additional audio tracks (most likely because the second season's dub is still in the works)

No just the original DB. Haven't watched the others. I only stayed for the flying nimbus haha
If you think any DB is boring but liked Sword Art you have no hope, sir.
Watch Jojo regardless

The Phantom Blood movie never got a home release, and there's no full version of it anywhere so I don't know what you mean. It was garbage, which is why it never got a full release. Also, what do you mean part 1 in the show is bad, it follows the manga way better than that shitty ova. Not to mention the voice acting is amazing.

It's not that it's "boring" it's just the story line wasn't the most 'riveting' thing ever. Like with Death Note. That shit had me on edge the whole time.
