Seeing as how the second was pretty much a copy paste of the first, while it was good it got boring pretty fast
Hopefully they have some new, more interesting content in the third

Im kinda annoyed about this, mostly because L4D1-2 are pretty much left for dead (lol puns) but this games just gonna be the same thing, mindless zombie shooting that people will get sick of. In fact the zombie craze is pretty much over too, so if this is true, then this is just gonna be a huge waste of time and money for Valve. I also cant think of a single person on earth who asked for this, just a bunch of people who said they dont want it.

Then I hope they OFFICIALLY confirm that they are not making it by VALVE. Am I the only one scared of tons of microtransactions in valve games now? Kinda seems to be part of any multiplayer valve game now.

Like how they killed Team Fortress 2? Yeah, I suppose. They're hopping on the bandwagon of microtransaction, I mean crates and keys already existed in 3 games

It's pretty boring when you play alone/with strangers, but playing with friends and especially with voice chat is a lot of fun
I especially remember when the first one got flooded with mods, I'd join random servers and make huge boxes out of fences, we'd explore the whole maps and spawn tanks and witches to fight each other

despite the oversaturation of zombie games i'd still welcome l4d3, just the thought of l4d2 feels somewhat still unique compared to all the zombie games, maybe its the levels or co op, but i still think of it as great fun, but also just the thought of a new valve game exites me

Honestly I'd be infinitely more hyped about a new Portal game, but L4D usually got the right amount of difficulty with zombie hordes, where some other games just send waves after waves with limited ammo, which may be more realistic but usually kills the game for me because you can barely make it through half of it without dying 200 times
