Problem solved. My laptop turns on, but it turns off immediatly

hello, i have a very important problem here, i have a laptop, its the one that always use, it worked fine 2 days ago, today i tryed to turn it on, i saw the iniciation screen and suddenly it turns off, it doesnt let me turn it on again, only if i close it and open it again, but happens the same thing, does someone knows what could happen to it?!

Additional info: idk if this could be useful, but when i opened it today, a bunch of ants were in it, but runned away, i dont know if this could have a relation with my problem

"idk if this could be useful", uh- yes. Take your laptop to a repair specialist, I expect that you've probably got crumbs/other food inside your computer, happens surprisingly a lot to laptops. Could be turning off due to overheating or numerous other problems (it's hard to really diagnose without the physical machine).

Try cleaning the camera/light sensor area. Maybe ants took over. If these solutions don't work, then try taking it to a repair specialist as Luke said above.

There is something very curious, when i constantly open it and close it fast, i can make the screen turn on, but in black, then it turns off

I have been investigating, and the most possible thing is that the cooldown system is dirty OR full of ants, and when the pc detects that, it doesnt turn on to prevent the motherboard/processor to burn, will try to open it and look at it, hoping that is the problem

Hey, i think i discovered the problem, by making the trick of forcing my pc to turn on, i recorded a video and in a mili-second i found this: http://m.imgur.com/RB2MBgu looks like a boot directory is missing, idk if it was those random deletes from energy, or if a piece of motherboard was damaged and those files got corrupted, but what i dont know is how i will keep my pc on to insert my win10 disk to make the recovery

In the few instances I've had such troubles with my laptops, I turn off the equipment completely, and pull out the battery for a full reset (wont wipe away your personal files and data of course). I don't know if it will help, but trying it is easy and could show results.

Well, i have tried this a lot and wont work, the most probable problem is the ventilation system, due to the pc "behaviour"

I will try to open it and clean it, even replace it if necessary, and if it doesnt work, idk what else it can be

Well, i dont think it is the ram, because that happened to a friend's mac and it didnt even turned on, only when we retired the damaged one, overheating, is probable, but the vent system is still in my possibilities list as the most probable

Are you able to boot into safe mode? You could attempt a system restore to the day it worked if you are able to get into the system in safe mode.

The boot problem is easy to solve, is not a problem, the problem is that the computer doesnt turn on, possibly for the cool system damages, because when i attempt to turn it on, the ventilation system doesnt sound, and turns off immediatly, ill have to take it to a technician to solve that problem, because fuckin hp doesnt let you have direct acces to the cooldown system :v

You don't need to dismantle it or open it to clean it out

Buy a can of compressed air and blow all the vents out with it, both the intake and exhaust vents. Gets the overwhelming majority of the dust out

I had a overheating issue with my old laptop and I did that, worked wonders

Also laptops especially need to be cleaned out at least once a month with compressed air. If you don't you're just baking your hardware, especially with gaming laptops

@Meowcenary Its a good idea, i believe i have the compressed air can available, but the problem is that most of the time those things throw water, slow particles some times, most of the pcs that get "broken" when being cleaned happen sue this issue, but thanks anyways, i will try it soon

They only spray out that water like stuff when you angle the can wrong. Try to keep it as upright as you can and that shouldn't happen

As for somehow breaking a computer by cleaning the dust out, that won't happen. I heard that rumor before but I think the only basis it has to it is people who use ridiculously high power air compressors causing them to fuck up their fans or people who unload a ton of the liquid in the cans which is easily avoidable

I've been cleaning dust out of my computer and laptop for years with the compressed air method and never once had any issues with it. It's either clean it out or let your hardware bake itself to the point where it dies entirely
