One Fuck Up After Another For Me

Now TF2 doesn't work anymore. Everytime I launch it, I get a hl2.exe startup crash. I've tried Restarting Steam, Retstarting my PC, Validating TF2 Files, Defragging TF2, Un-Installing and Re-Installing all together and nothing has worked. I right clicked on the hl2 part of the TF2 Icon when you have a TF2 Window up, and it gave me this error message exactly:

Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your - game parameter or VCONFIG setting.

...That's the exact Error Message. I don't know what the fuck it means because I'm Technologically Challenged, but I'm hoping someone can help me with this, just like when I fucked up my registry.blob file.

Basically delete everything and reinstall the OS.
But that's the extreme solution.

Doubt it. As I've told everyone that's messaged me, "Fuck off Valve. I'm done with this bullshit. Selling my TF2 shit if all I can do is format OS". I'm pretty sure that'd delete my TF2 stuff anyway, right?
