Ok, last tournament I initiated was a bust and I admit that. Reason for that is there was no way I'd be ready in time to even participate in the event, let alone host it. So, as opposed to that, why not just do it on Pokemon Showdown? Much easier to prep there.

Since Pokemon is hosting the Pokemon Spooky Cup, I thought it would be great if we did our own. Comment below if you want in.

List of eligible Pokemon:
http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-n...allowed-in-the-spooky-cup-online-competition/

Rules:
  • Single, full battle
  • No stalling (timer will be turned on with every battle)
  • No ubers (OU or under)
  • If there is anything else, let me know
Date:
To be determined (which ever is most comfortable for all participants)

Eh, I don't like how limited you are to Pokemon. You can't really make a great team with their shoddy list. I know it's supposed to be oh so spooky Halloween theme, but kind of a poop tournament.

I think it's a good way shake things up from your standard tournament.

There's 100+ Pokemon to choose from, you're not that limited, especially considering how many Pokemon are not used in regular tournaments. A lot of the spooky Pokemon are pretty neat imo.

I didn't mean you were limited with Pokemon to pick from. I meant you're very limited in Pokemon to make a good team, a good chunk of those Pokemon suck anywho. It's a neat idea, but sounds boring to me.

The Pokemon there seem to provide coverage for types and have quite the move variety imo.

There aren't as many types as I would have liked, it's still pretty limited on decent team selection. Like I said, neat tournament. But seems boring to me.

I already have a spooky team that wins and loses some, but it's poorly built and I only raised them for fun. Not to mention I got bored of X after I beat the first gym leader. But I'd be interested if other people join in.
