Seems polite, respectful, and owned up to his mistakes which is awesome. I think he could do a great job. My only issue is that your availability seems to be quite limited, but that's not a huge deal when there are other admins around.

Seems like very good admin material. I KNOW you will do a great job, you are frequently on, polite, and know all the rules and commands. Very good admin application.

  • A player is accused of aimbotting. What steps do you take and what are the commands that you use?
  • You join JB and you see a vote to ban your friend for freekill. You blindly trust your friend and he says he didn't freekill. [U:1:2345] is the one who started the vote. What do you do?
 
Hello. Sorry for the delay in my answers, I was very busy. Anyways, here are my answers.

1. If someone were accused for aimbotting, I would first need to acquire evidence to prove it. I would ask anyone if they had evidence to prove it. If they did, I would take it and watch it to make sure it was legitimate and that I would be able to use it. If they didn't have the evidence, I would go into spectator, open console and type "record aimbot", start recording a demo, watch the player who was accused, and type "stop," into console so I could stop the demo from still recording and use it. If I had the evidence in a demo, I would turn it into a dropbox file and then would use it as evidence if the player submits an appeal. After receiving the evidence, I would type this command into console: sm_ban "#[U:1:0000]" 0 "aimbot"

2. Even if I did blindly trust my friend, I wouldn't be able to just mute [U:1:2345]. I would ask my friend for a demo to show me if the vote starter started the vote for an invalid reason. If my friend had a demo that had shown they abused the votemenu, I would type into console: sm_mute "#[U:1:2345]" 1440 "vote abuse" or extend the time of the mute if they had abused the vote system multiple times. Then if the vote were accepted, I would have to unban my friend because he did not freekill. If my friend didn't have the evidence, there would be nothing I could do since the only other source would be word of mouth, which is unreliable. If [U:1:2345] had a demo showing the freekill, then I would have to see if the vote got accepted or declined. If it was accepted then the incident is justified, and if it were declined then I would have to slay my friend and give them a warning.
 
You see child porn sprayed in the blu spawn on upward, apparently the player who sprayed it has left, what could/should you do? Also list what problems you might run into.
 
First off, I would look at the spray to find the persons Steam3 ID. I would ask someone to then record a demo as proof.(Don't want illegal stuff on my comp) Then, I would type this into console to permanently ban them: sm_ban "#[U:1:1234]" 0 "Illegal Spray"

Some problems that may occur: 1. The red text that shows up with the steam3 id doesn't show up and I would have to get the proof by asking people who's spray it was, then joining that person if they're still in a server. Then, I would search around the map for the spray and get their steam id. 2. Someone sprays over it to prevent me from seeing it. If this happened, I would first warn them to spray there spray away from the one they sprayed it over. If they did not do that, I would kick them for ignoring admins. Then, if their spray disappeared, I would take the screenshot of it and ban the other person with the child spray. If the spray was still over it, I would ask for proof from someone on the server as a screenshot of it to use.

I don't really know if it would be safe for you or for anyone else to screenshot it. That would in turn make you a holder of child pornography since it is on your computer.

As long as you dont publicize it for the use of money or whatnot, you should be fine.

That is what I thought. I've seen a report where a person used a pic of a bestiality spray as proof, maybe I would convert the spray into an imgur file and leave it there.
