I wish it would snow in California. Then again, everyone would go bat shit crazy and then the drivers would crash and everything would burn. Never mind. I miss snow since I lived in Appleton, WI for a year. Best time of the year to hide a body.
It does snow in Cali. Cali has one of the best skii resorts in the us also.

We just get ice storms and the whole city just shuts down.. While somewhere else

It's been great for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Although I wouldn't mind a day or two above -5f.

Your university cancelled over that much snow? Lol
Y'all so weak. Atlanta got 5 inches of snow and now there is a massive shutdown and panic all over the state.
Meanwhile, we, tough Michigan residents, are dealing with -27F and 11 inches of snow and, nevertheless, we still manage to get to work and do our shit.

The reason SC shuts down so easily is because people freak out completely whenever there's any snow at all. That and we have no anti-snow / ice measures really, since it happens quite rarely.

"Are you stocked up on food?"
"Drum, you aren't afraid to drive today?"

-^ actual quotes from people here.

Meanwhile I remember getting like 2 feet of snow in Illinois and business continuing like usual.

I figured that was partially the case. It still just baffles me that people react so badly to adverse weather. Over here it could be sunny for one hour and start hailing the next and everyone just would just pull out their umbrellas like its nothing.

First time I've seen snow in Columbia, SC in 3 years. I've missed it so much.
UofSC also canceled courses for tomorrow. Ice is already prevalent on the roads.
I'm from NC we got it too, I love it.
