At this point it's voting for the lesser of two evils, so Obama. Although I do like Jill Stein's views, but a vote for the Green party is a wasted vote.

I don't really want either of them all that much but as pants said I'd rather have obama.

3rd party.
Neither option is viable. I'm just planning for when the U.S. either has an uprising or crumbles.

It's to make a statement.

You know, while if you all voted for Obama Romney really doesn't have a chance, the people who ARE going to vote for Romney won't ever think about third parties. This is a really worrying mentality.

Like, seriously, I can't vote, but I really hope people don't waste their votes.

Please inform us of how your life in the US is.

But seriously, I think most non-Americans shouldn't. really comment, the culture differences between the US and everything else in the world are just too huge for people outside the American sphere to fully understand. I will, for example, probably never understand why family issues should be a political question at all. Or well, I could probably understand, but the answer I'd get would probably be incredibly stupid from a Swedish perspective. Just like a lot of Americans would question how stupid Sweden can be for having state-owned companies/schools.

now how many of you are actually old enough (if you lived in the United States) to vote?

that's right.

Takethepants is the only person in here old enough to vote, apart from me.

All that means in this forum is that you're going to be the one prosecuted for showing porn to minors :p

Actually, I already voted earlier this year.

Super Nintendo Chalmers for CA State Assembly 2012.

I don't vote, the entire process is a load of shit. I don't support politics, nor our shitty politicians. This crap about "choosing the lesser evil" is fucking poppycock.

I don't want to hear that bullshit about "do your civic duty" either. I did enough civic duty in the form of getting my ass shot at that I am left not giving a fuck about shit.

Yes, but I'm commenting on the data I have. And given that like half the internet is American there's quite a lot of data :p
I would also say that I'm not completely trusting American sources because it's mostly liberal Americans using the Internet, whereas conservatives are not. I'm not saying that conservatism is fucking awesome, I'm just saying that Mitt Romney might not be the end of the US as we know it, apparently he had some solid economical plans, it's just that most people don't like him because he puts family values on top besides economy.

In fact, I can relate to Mitt Romney in the way that I'm as hypocritical as him, as I just noticed in this thread.
