Problem solved. 32bit vs 64bit

Okay, so I run a 32bit... uh... computer I guess. But I learned that 32bit computers are only compatible with... 4gb or 3 gb or something. What I want to know is, how do you upgrade to 64bit? or whatever number bit, can't remember. Do you upgrade the OS? or the CPU? What do you gotta do?

I'm by no means a computer expert, but for gaming do you even need more than 4gb of RAM (I'm assuming that's what we're talking about here) from what I've been told, games don't use anything that exceeds that by themselves and most of the stuff you usually run outside of the game takes up little to no RAM at all. Unless you plan on running 2+ games at once, I don't see the need for an upgrade (or if you plan on doing CAD/3D Modeling). But that's just with my limited knowledge.

I'm pretty sure 4 Ram will do for a lot of games.

I plan on upgrading because im tired of running every fucking game in existence at 13FPS. I want to upgrade me CPU, Graphics Card and RAM

I only have 2.8 GB

I mean, mohawk and probe seem to know more about this than me, but in my personal experience you'll want at least 4gb ram, your CPU shouldn't effect your FPS issue a ton unless you got one shitty CPU, and get at least a GB graphics card if you plan on running newer games at moderate to low graphics.

You're probably going to have to replace your motherboard too. If you want to stick with AMD the new CPUs use a new socket.

Yea 4 GB is a bare minimum.
What games do you want to play inFAMOUS?
