This guy has been doing this for months. He comes in and shouts at players non-stop. Most people don't like him because he is so self-centered. He is also very manipulative and will set up bans against innocent people for simple reasons such as "he's a bad medic". The N word is a big issue, giildy, lordthree, oli, and several others have seen it. People complain all of the time, but nobody has had the evidence to report... Until now.

Also! if anyone cares to make his ban longer just look at his chat logs and look at all those votes he calls.
 
saw the votemenu spam.
if i could make it a week and 3 days i would. but i cant so i boosted it to 2 weeks

This isn't even close to his first offense... it has been witnessed EVERY NIGHT. I have even been a victim of unfair mutes/bans. After he calls a vote he yells into the mic THIS PLAYER NEEDS BANNED... HES AFK. or if you call him out on racism and tell him he can be banned for it, he sets up a ban/kick on you for racism. Its ridiculous... it just AMAZES me how long he has been doing this and nobody has commented in forums.
 
I thought he would have been perma-banned by now with how often he does this, but I guess other people are as lazy as I am when it comes to recording.

He's honestly pretty tame in that video, though :B
 
I offer my apologies to everyone involved. In my defense I do not consider slurs to be "racist" but are rather my attempt at exploiting the ridiculousness of racism, but I understand that they can be construed as aggressive. These are a few isolated incidents, which I deeply regret. I understand that this conception will have little to no impact on my ban, so I will serve out the 2 weeks without appeal. Ultimately, I think it will be a welcome break, and I'm glad to see the mods respond to these sort of issues.

I do want to note that TwiztidGuy does have a personal vendetta against myself and others in the server. He constantly idles and evades the idle manager. In turn, some of us nudge him out of spawn so he gets killed so he gets the idea. This infuriates him, and he'll start instigating. This has become a regular thing that TwistidGuy and some others do. I agree that my action of pushing him into the battlements is certainly injecting more animosity into the situation. However, I do believe that these acts are justified, considering that skial generously provides idle servers which should be utilized by players wishing to do as such. Because votebans in these circumstances are so unsuccessful, we've improvised to compensate for the inability of the votemenu to handle such circumstances. I will ensure that I obtain demo footage of his behavior to be used in future discipline.

I do believe that TwistidGuy enjoys instigating, then reporting the people who defend themselves against him.

Point 1. You are racist. You are always racist. When I call you racist after having screamed 'nigger' a few times you play dumb and innocent. You have voted to mute me after calling you racist.
Point 2. Real Regs of the server hate you.
Point 3. I was the one that reported twist for racism. Honestly I can say he's improved since then.

I'm not sure why you always intervene into situations that do not concern you. You want drama and it must drive you up a wall that I refuse to address you.

Also, please don't confuse "real regs" with hormone-fueled 14-year-olds that think being nice to you and being on your side will offer them the opportunity catch a glimpse of your hideous cunt. This is the most I will be acknowledging you from now on.

Even after a tour in Iraq one is still ill-prepared to deal with a malignant imbecilic personality of your magnitude.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean.
Twiztid has video proof of blatant racism on your part.
Saying "He's a dick too!" Doesn't make it any better, if you want him to be punished you'll need some solid proof. In a different thread, preferably.

I don't think saying any of these hateful words constitute as defending one's self. if I were you accept the ban with grace and mature so it doesn't happen again. Don't make up lame excuses such as imagined (or real) vendettas, you fucked up, you were going the right way by saying it's a welcome break and you're glad of the mods actions..you made yourself look like an idiot when you started throwing twiztid's name down the shitter.

I just wanted my side of the story to go archived, I'm really not trying to start a battle. I generally just mute people like Giildy as soon as I get in the server, because I'm not interested in drama, I just want to play TF2 and have fun.

Which is really what I tried to in my first paragraph. I've accepted the ban, and even agree with it. This is why I posted in this thread and not as an appeal, I'm not appealing the ban. My point is, there is much more than a 20 second video clip shows, and it conveniently cuts out his side of the story.

I appreciate everyone's input on this subject. I just want to reiterate that I'm not disputing the ban, I just want to go on record that the request was fueled by the immaturity of the requester. I've played several hundred hours on the server, and this is a 20 second video which doesn't include the times I've given out items, secret saxtons, etc. I'm not saying that those positive actions validate this, but I feel like I'm certainly being vilified by a small group of players.

I just want to add that I appreciate skial's response to this matter.

I know this is resolved, but I gotta ask something. Do you do a votemute or a client mute? If it's a votemute, that's vote abuse. If you client mute, that's perfectly fine.

Thanks for the help. I just googled the difference. Now that I think of it, I used the client mute in the past, but I suppose I forgot about it.
