Your opinion is offtopic here. Please post new, relevant information about the applicants, not what would your requirements be if you were the one who chose the admins.

I don't feel my opinion is off topic. An individual is applying for the status of Admin, which is an officer-like status in the community. That is a rather serious consideration to be made. If that individual seems to lack the social ethos that goes along with being an admin, then I believe I've given a fair justification for my -1 rep. So, Rvsz, thank you for nothing = )

It depends. Yesterday night, I was on plr_Hightower, just marketing gardens and treading mans, occasionally using my mic to talk. The burden of a mic is that people hate you for no reason. A certain pyro, who shall remain unnamed, thought it was quite comical that I only had 19 points (after 5 minutes, mind you). He muted me, and began constant heckling via chat. If I saw someone in that situation, where there is an obvious troll and an obvious victim, I would simply mute the troll. It's easy, it's not too severe, and frankly, I think that the only time bans should come into effect is if there is hacking. Otherwise, there are always better options. Even the trolls are here to play TF2, and the admins just have to make sure they stay on the right path. I know things aren't always that simple, but I'm sure you all don't want me writing a whole book on the ethics of admin-ing.
Good answer, I have one more question, Someone is complaining to you, that someone on the server is hacking. He seems like a normal player, but every now and then he gets a funny lookin headshot. what would you do.

I don't know, think of it like a job interview, the employer has no idea what kind of person you are, thats why questions are asked, you should get to know him, before your judgement.
Edit: Double post, sorry

Spectate him/her/it, make a judgment call after a while, and go back. I know that a lot of people complain, and calling hacks is fairly common among lesser players. Also, sneaking up behind them as an invisible spy can give you a good indicator: If they 180 headshot you in 1/10 of a seconds, they might be aimbotting.

The only problem I see here that you aren't the employer here.

I like most of your answers, but to be safe you should also make a demo of the person to have evidence if the person feels they were banned unfairly. I believe you would do an excellent job as an admin and I wish you the best of luck. +1

No, I'm not, but someone has to ask questions, and in any case it's for everyones benefit. I certainly learned alot about this individual, and I can only hope that others did as well.

Note that there are a lot of Skial admins that aren't active on the forums.

As for the applicant, seems like a nice dude, and I'll have to agree with FearlessJuggernaut that I'd like to see you more on the forums, but more because you seem like a nice chap rather than it being obligatory. : p You also seem to get the hang of being an admin, so +1 from me.

I don't disagree with that. However, when one has not had any sort of contact with the applicant because of differences in map preferences, it is not unreasonable to prefer that the user have had at least ten or so postings on the forums before making the application. It's less about quota and has to do with getting the applicant more socially familiar with the other Skial users they will be presiding over in game.

realy +1 because of the playtime...it doesn't matter a fuck if you are a reg on the forums...just if you become an admin you should take a look on the reports now and then. You probably know alot of regs on the server so...+1 like i said

Thats why we get people from the servers they play on the most to come here and post feedback.

Slaazz is an admin and doesn't even have a forum account.

I didn't post +1 or -1 on that individual's application, so it doesn't matter to me. This application is relevant here. All I'm saying is if I don't run into the guy on the maps and he has posted nothing on the forums, the only choice I have is to -1 until I interact with him more. No further attempted one-ups-manship is necessary.

No he means, he doesn't have a forum account. which means he didn't even make an admin app.

Let's not have dick measuring competitions in legit admin applications please. If you people want to debate about who should and shouldn't contribute in admin applications, make a new thread.

+1 btw, playtime is there, seems mature enough - answered irrelevant questions despite not having to.
