Probably not. I'm horrible at lying. I also love my wife too much to fuck the interns and I'm not corruptible... You'd probably think I was retarded for all the times I've turned down hundreds of dollars to do things for people that I didn't think were quite right.

That feel when no one understands that this thread is for current admins not HURRRR I WANT 2 BE ADMIN admins.
 
I'd been playing for a year on Skial and I felt like giving back (I know it sounds corny) and plus I had nothing else to do.
 
Everyone thinks their e-peen will grow exponentially if they're admin.
we already have enough responsabilities in this world, why add more?
Which is why i'd never want to become an admin.

I did ask the very same question a couple of months ago, still don't understand why would anyone want to become an admin : )
 
sorry for the repost.

As for why, I think for most people it boils down into three categories.

1) the person wants to know how things are run from an insider's perspective
2) the person wants the power

or

3) the person enjoys helping and administrating others.

there's probably actually way more reasons than that, but it's late (early) and I don't feel like elaborating needlessly on something I think we all probably mutually understand at this point.

I guess people will believe I'm lying but this is the reason I want to become an admin - sometimes there's just so much griefing on the European servers it isn't even funny, and it's frustrating for a lot of people.
 
Only reason I'd ever want to become an admin is to keep the servers enjoyable. Fucking failspies.

in retrospect this thread was kind of pretentious of me to make. we shall see if anything good comes of it, but probably nothing beyond learning more about our current (and former) cast of moderators.

I don't think it was pretentious, really. I think it's informative.
 
Was because of there being basically no admins outside of Idle at the time.
I was tired of feeling kind of helpless. When I saw things that were wrong going on, I felt like people who came to play a game shouldn't be denied that right because of a jerk.
