why do you use strange weapons?

I've been trying to sell the last of my stranges and reverting back to unique weapons cause i wasn't all that excited about stranges anymore. what's your reason of using them?

Because some weapons don't have a vintage version...

I get strange weapons for the ones I use the most, But I fear the day the strange Force-A-Nature comes out.......

Because it's fun to see how many kills you actually got with a weapon.
I can gloat about all the kills my Crusader's Crossbow has! xD

Because it feels like normal items are level one, vintages are level 2 and strange is level 3. I don't even know how I feel about genuine or festive weapons. :-/

This is something I feel rather strongly about with my medic, since going off the stock uber can be retarded and the festive medigun makes me sad in the fps sometimes.

Totally about the kills, and when you Rank a weapon up to SERVER-CLEARING, it feels pretty good. It feels Real Good!

I see where you are coming from. Like what is the difference between Genuine and Vintage when it comes to real gameplay? Those titles, much like Festives, refer to the seasonal origin or age of the weapons; but have no other intrinsic features such as tracking kills. Strange and Strange Festive DO track kills and also give you a Rank based upon Kills, Ubercharges, Feigned Deaths, etc.By the way, this rank is reset when you trade the Strange weapons so you cannot buy the rank, only the weapon.

You can go on a farm server however and get Hale's own in just a matter of minutes.

Cuz I like to try and get as many kills as possible with a weapon
Or because I have a completely strange set of some kind, like a strange saharan spy set, or puff n' pew pyro (degreaser + reserve + axetinguisher)
