You have obviously not seen him come onto US21 some nights, drunker than shit, announcing it to the server. I've heard him say multiple times "Do you really fucking think I'm sober" or such along the line.

A large part of me wants to think he's changed, that he's a different person, but he's obviously displayed that he hasn't. Creating a whole new Steam account setup with a completely new IP address to avoid a permanent ban where many, many temporary bans were issued before hand as warnings is worthy of another permanent ban in my personal opinion.

I say dig it.

Yep! When he's upset he usually emails me 4 or 5 times in quick succession..and if you read what I typed I said I would post what I had from today. The last is from January, there are more I can screencap if I need to but I feel like the ones from today summarize well enough.

Permabanned can't magically turn into tempabanned through a vote, especially if the permabanned in question dodged it. Whether or not he's okay now is irrelevant.

Okay, let's be honest here.

Direwulf was banned for being an asshole. Direwulf was banned permanently for being an asshole.

You know who else was banned at some point? Dead Herald. xomp. Dave the Manly. Ruelel.

We admins get told everyday about what huge pieces of shit we are, how fucking stupid we are, and how we're so fucking gay. I've been on Turbine when Lord Three's had a drink or five, and I've seen Zebra attack everyone in a five-mile radius after a few.

And granted, we get a little carried away. It's a game, and we're a community of mostly children and virgins. A lot of us flocked to the aid of a girl who was a victim in a video game. White-knighting, if you will.

And while Direwulf may not have changed overnight, she did. Literally. Into a different person, affecting a good handful of relationships in the meantime.

So if someone we trust as an admin can flip-flop and badly damage one of our oldest members mentally, how can we expect the same level of trust about a lonely guy who just wants to play a game and stay single?

If you don't want to communicate with the man, you have the option of blocking him, muting him, and just ignoring him, like a normal human.

If you don't want to play with him, vote appropriately. However, I think everyone here has an enemy, everyone makes mistakes, and time can actually make a difference.
