People are also out celebrating easter or gone for spring break. So that could also contribute to the servers being dead. I know a huge dustbowl crowd that is gone for the weekend either doing one or the other.
Look, I never said I liked this change but I will defend what we are doing so long as botty thinks it will help. This is also an experiment and not permanent. So honestly I'd just be patient and see what happens
Your initial response to my thread in the server issues forum was more or less "lol l2 teamwork". Which was why I was annoyed with you in the first place.
I did and I saw something beautiful. I saw teamwork. Instead of complaining there were 9 or ten of us working together and we were able to get to third before it stalemated more so to the other team having demos, medics, and soldiers than our incompetence. Really did not see that much of a problem
If you were as familiar with the playerbase on that server as I am, you'd know that;
- nobody plays it "srs" and those that do get mocked.
- all chat is on 90 percent of the time.
- team scrambles happen very frequently.
I'd wager most join to have mindless fun, share a few laughs, and log off. As opposed to having to deal with the "can we work a miracle by having 10 people coordinate just so we can get past the second stage" experience it is right now.
And while I'm sure you think you made some point yesterday by managing to push to second street on the 3rd stage (congrats, that's honestly a rare thing now) As evident with your snide "I thought it was impossible to get to stage 3, Drytoast?" remark...
- I said getting to 3rd stage was
next to impossible, but winning it was impossible. (although I'm sure somehow, somewhere someone has managed to do it once or twice...)
- you still came nowhere near close to capping the final point
- had you stayed for the next hour, you would have been treated to a slew of stage 1s with few hints of stage 2 thrown in, so your "point" was muted.
But don't worry, as everyone started to complain about the red's spawn timer, I was sure to pass along the "lol l2teamwork" message you have as a solution to this mess. Because, while I'm sure you'd love to say "Drytoast, you suck...YOU are the reason nobody is getting past the first stage, understand that remark accidentally falls on anyone else (which happens to be everyone else) whom also can't seem to do the same.
Ironic, had you just responded to my other thread saying what you just said here...I wouldn't agree with you, but at least I'd understand what you are trying to do here.
Anyways...
