So a thread just to share or tell stories of weird computer/program/game glitches.

I always think this is funny when it happens

I've had Getright tell me there was a negative amount of time remaining on my download many times before.

There's also the classic no keyboard BIOS error message that I'm sure many people here have seen before:

I've once had corrupted boot code on the master boot record of a hard drive that caused the computer to reboot. It would just reboot over and over again.

I once figured out a number of glitches in World of Warcraft that allowed me to fly under continents, get into closed off areas, and even fly indoors. I even figured out how to enter the queue for lower level dungeons. I sometimes pulled an entire dungeon and sat in the queue until the level appropriate people join at which time I would bail. The next patch, they were all fixed but one. It was as if someone from Blizzard was watching me.

I just remember this now. I once plugged an Apple II computer into a color TV via the composite video output. Due to signal degradation, there were a number colors present on the screen. It almost looked as if the Apple II could do more than just two colors.

You can also plug a VCR or anything with a composite video output into a Apple II monitor and have green-scale video. Here's a video from someone that did just that:

Dunno what is up with my computer. It loves to automatically restart without any errors and stuff.

Just now, it automatically restarted on me, then while in the process of restarting, it automatically restarts itself again. God dammit

Could be a number of things. Hardware overheating. RAM sticks or add-on cards not seated right. A power supply that can't give the hardware enough juice. A buggy driver.

I remember being able to "close" the start button on Windows 95. You could right click on the start button and select close and the start button would disappear.
