Mini-sentry hate (possible actions)

Hey guys, I started playing TF2 on skial really recently, but the first thing I saw, was a BRUTAL hate on Mini-sentries (gunslinger) users. There is no rule about them being not allowed right? But still a very high number of players just hates them and insults fellow players. Its those insults, that made me make this post. They dont even try to ask nicely to stop using them... they immediately start with insults like: "fuck you", "you are a bitch" etc.

So... according rules, these insult are not bannable (?) I think... but could be here some kind of Warning system, for those haters or even bans? I will welcome any advices or your opinions.

I'm adding some screens, how it looks in the game. (PoV my friend - Annie which is one of their targets as soon as she logs in and is really troubled with it, because she loves Skial servers.)

If they didn't break any rules, admins will not do anything to them.

Mini sentries are generally regarded as cheap, you should expect a little hate for using a cheap tactic..if the people bitching at you bother you, the simplest suggestion I could give you is to client mute them.

Don't be a baby you always have people talk shit in chat and if skial banned for that it would lose a whole of traffic this is a m rated game if you can't handle it go play something else you can also ignore players if you don't like what they have to say

If the Vanilla (Built In) client mute isn't working for chat, try this:

type status in the developers console, find the player number (furthest left on the list) of the player you want to client mute, and type:

 /sm_ignore "#playernumber"

Mini sentrys have been talked about so much here, there is no point about going back to them. It's part of the game and they need to deal with it. Otherwise like everyone else said, ignore it. I don't see any reason to go back to this topic.

You guys don't have to be so hostile towards someone who is just coming onto a new forum to complain about an issue. There are civil ways to tell them how to handle the issue. (Like how Cube did)

Snipers can take out minis with 3 uncharged shots from a distance where the engi won't find them. A good heavy can destroy an engi in seconds and then go for the sentry. Spies can sap the sentry and use that to bait the engis.

if the sniper takes out the mini the engineer can just put another one up in 2 seconds
a "good" heavy doesnt exist in pubs as all pub heavies can just be strafed around and killed
and a spy cant do anything if he's getting hit with a pomson

We're talking about pubs here, the Engineer probably doesn't even know the button for sentry and neither can he aim to save his grandmothers life.

I giggled at "scout mains." I don't have a problem with mini sentries, it's just a generally disliked tactic. It isn't a big issue to go soldier or demo and take care of them and grief the engi until he stops.
