Somewhat Threatening Sniper
Hello.
I've been playing Dustbowl (EU 1) today as Engineer, and a few times my teleporter exit as been destroyed without any fore-warning, with a message saying "Your teleport has been detected as a trap, and is now destroyed", or something of the sort.
My entrance and my exit were definitely in two completely different spots in the map, and were not forming a trap.

It's really starting to bother me, because my team could have probably won several times if that hadn't happened.
Please fix this, thanks in advance.

Thank you for the report. The plugin is new so there may be some bugs. This will be looked into shortly.

For future placement on that map: please move your entrance teleporter a bit further away from the door, otherwise it can be a hassle for players to get out of spawn with that exit.

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, everybody was able to walk out of it smoothly.

Oh, you may have placed it just fine then!

Sometimes I am on servers where the Engineer has placed the teleporter close enough to the stairs so the players have to crouch jump over it to get out. Nothing major but it is a hassle in the long term for the entire team and easily avoided by the engineer.

Ohh yeah, I know what you mean. A lot of times I would use teleporters on slopes or stairs in the middle of the field as a defensive Engineer in order to hinder enemies. Pretty darn effective, more people should be aware of this technique. However, I always make sure that I don't do that to teammates as you mentioned before.

Already know what the issue is, just need to wait on bottiger to fix it. :)

So that is why my tele exit has been randomly destroyed when building in that spot in the tunnel.

If you pick up a building and the game registers it as in spawn, it automatically destroys itself. It's not the plugin, it's an actual game feature, to keep engineers from grabbing their sentries and hiding in spawn until it's safe to return.

I'm not referring to that. I was stating I now know why my exit teleporter exit self-destructs when building in that tunnel Blu team usually builds in on Dustbowl stage 2 after capturing the first point. The teleporter's sans the entrance isn't near spawn and the teleporter entrance is built far enough away from the spawn entrance that shouldn't be an issue.
